DoseRightRN Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of DoseRightRN ("the app", "we", "us"), a dosage-calculation practice app for nursing students published by SmartNurseTech and available on iOS and Android. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Educational use only — not medical advice

DoseRightRN is a study and practice tool. Its questions, calculations, and rationales are for educational purposes only and do not constitute medical, clinical, or professional advice. The app is not intended for use in real patient care or for making real dosing decisions. Always follow your institution's protocols and verify calculations independently. You are solely responsible for any clinical decisions you make.

License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the app for your own educational purposes, subject to these Terms and the terms of the store you downloaded it from (the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions or the Google Play Terms of Service). You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or distribute the app.

Free version

The app is free to use with advertising. The free version includes a limited number of practice rounds per day in selected categories. You may earn additional rounds by watching optional rewarded ads. Free features and daily limits may change over time.

DoseRight Pro subscription

You may optionally purchase an auto-renewable subscription, DoseRight Pro, which provides unlimited practice rounds, access to all practice categories, and removes ads.

Price and length: The available plans, billing periods, and prices (in your local currency) are shown in the app and in the store at the point of purchase, before you confirm.
Auto-renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Free trials. If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Managing & cancelling. On iOS, manage or cancel in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. On Android, manage or cancel in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. After cancelling, you keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period.
Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, or by Google under the Google Play refund policies.

Payments are processed by Apple or Google

All payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive or store your payment-card details. Subscription status is reported to the app through RevenueCat so that Pro features can be unlocked.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt to access it through unauthorized means, circumvent usage limits, or use it in any way that violates applicable law.

Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app's content is error-free or suitable for any clinical use.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SmartNurseTech is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any harm arising from reliance on the app's educational content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
